Congregational cohorts in Anabaptist Thriving Congregations will participate in a multi-step learning process: 1) Be introduced to tools to help them dive deeply into their context—cultural, demographic, economic, geographical, historical, sociological—with the goal of telling a story of how their congregation has responded to change, 2) Learn how to lead an innovative approach to interpreting scripture called "Confessional Bible Study," and 3) Guide their faith communities in practicing discernment that connects their congregational story to the rich insights of the Bible in order to bring good news to their contexts.
