COCHUSA FORWARD will support promising churches in expanding their engagement capacities and presence by developing and partnering in outwardly-focused ministries that will serve those in their communities, dioceses, and throughout the world. This will be accomplished by pastors and congregants creating structured, congregational-learning communities that will empower and equip them to engage in the missional mandates of God and by them exploring the new realities and opportunities of outward-focused ministry in a post-pandemic and racially-charged era. COCHUSA FORWARD’s participating pastors and congregations will experience a deepened faith in the transcendent majesty of God through the revitalization and cultivation of missions; outside of the walls of the church. This experience will enhance the connections among congregants. Thus, inspiring and restoring the hope of COCHUSA to not merely strive to survive; but to thrive as congregants, congregations, and in their communities.
