For this initiative, Logos Evangelical Seminary will work closely with our affiliated denomination, Evangelical Formosan Church (EFC), which has 31 local churches in the United States. This program aims to intentionally educate and form micro-communities of 5-7 people as spiritual companions to walk with each other through their faith journey. The program will leverage the seminary’s extensive knowledge in theological study and Christian Education framework to empower the EFC congregations to thrive in their spiritual life by (1) facilitating a learning community for a deeper connection with the Word of God with the purpose of Spiritual Formation, (2) equipping congregation leaders in EFC to be Spiritual Companion Trainer that can support local congregation to share and overcome the spiritual challenges in life and ministry, and (3) providing congregations a cohort platform to demonstrate and innovate Spiritual Ministry in the current social and cultural contexts.
