The EPC is committed to building healthy churches that serve their local community. We have developed and piloted an extensive church revitalization program in order to turn inward facing churches into outward facing churches, ones that serve a local community effectively and consistently so that they may build relationships that lead to opportunities to share the Gospel. We have put in place a church health team led by a National Director of Church Health, supported by a National Church Health Leadership Team, and implemented through a team of church health coordinators—one coordinator from each of our 16 presbyteries—with additional supporting coaches.
