Over 3.5 years, The Tend Fold Initiative will engage 30 to 45 congregations representing the breadth and diversity of Chattanooga to participate in a 12-month experience which will be structured around (1) Monthly City Engagement Trainings, (2) Personalized Executive/Business Coaching, (3) Congregational Active Learning and Mobilization, ( 4) Strategic Planning for each church, (5) Helping individual discern their calling to serve and (6) A Culminating Collaborative Demonstration Project. Through their participation in The Tend Fold Initiative, congregations will be better equipped to serve effectively and collaboratively in their communities. We believe that through active ministry and engagement within their neighborhoods and surrounding communities, Chattanooga congregations will be more likely to grow, thrive, and effectively live into their vocation as bearers of God's Kingdom.
