Leighton Ford Ministries supports the church through whole-life mentoring (healthy pastors) and professional ministry consulting (thriving churches). This initiative strongly aligns with the LFM team's 20-year history of consulting with over 1,000 churches and a broad range of denominational judicatories to support congregations through visioning, governance, transformation, and leadership development. Through this grant, LFM is extending their Transforming Church Process to benefit small congregations (average weekly attendance of under 200) that typically lack the financial resources to support visioning, coaching, and cultural research. The ideal target for the project is a small denominational church with potential for success and motivated leadership. The project aims to train approximately 325 small congregations through day-long Transforming Church Workshops and select approximately 30 small congregations from those workshops to engage in three-year learning communities with the goal of navigating social change, identifying and strengthening their strategy and values, and thriving based on their theological traditions and unique code.
