Redeemer City to City is a non-profit organization with a mission to prayerfully help leaders start and strengthen churches to advance the gospel together in their city. We believe that cities are transformed by the gospel when congregations are thriving. We believe the radical values of the kingdom invert power structures, humbling the proud, calling those at the margins to come to the center. We intentionally practice inviting in voices that are overlooked by the power structures of our day. Our North America leadership team was formed to reflect the diversity of our country and region: it is multi-ethnic and includes men and women who represent many denominations and traditions. We will run 11 congregational peer learning groups to engage about 100 African-American and Hispanic congregations in U.S. cities. Each participating congregation will engage with coaches and peer congregations to help them gain greater awareness of their changing contexts, evaluate and revitalize the mission and values of their church, and deepen their ability to draw on their Hispanic or African-American church traditions.
